*[NF]Goune* So hey, if you skill up in this game, do you get a bigger hat? Bonnie: You will get higher-level armors and equipments
[QT]Preston: *Hach* Will I be able to play in 1920x1200 screen resolution? Games that max at 1024x768 are hard for me to play with a 24" screen. Linda_Lin: certainly you could, if it is 24 screen, it could support 2 modes. For example, the full screen and the window screen. Daniel: Enjoy 1920x1200.

*Hexo[AG]* Do you have plans for adding submarines into the game, and deep-sea exploring maybe? Perhaps some way to battle fierce underwater creatures? Bonnie: No. Because there was no submarine in 15th century. VC is a game based on the reality of that century.

*Hexo[AG]* Can my character dance? How many dances are there? mary_li: Your character cannot dance at present, but it has dress-changing sytem.
[QT]Preston: *Durai* What will be the appeal of this game compared to other available games? Bonnie: Compared to other games, VC has a more realistic backgroud and culture. We have comprehensive and special systems including pirate system and seabattle system.
[QT]Preston: *Riano* Question: How many players can be logged onto the gameworld at the same time? Will there be different english servers in US/Europe/Asia? Linda_Lin: The server could support about 1500 players simultaneously and the English servers are mostly in American area.

*[NF]Goune* Will there be any form of instant travel, through recall, or gateways? Danny: No, Reality is the largest difference for the Voyage Century comparing to other online games, we haven't got gateways right now
[QT]Preston: *flamingbeard* Is there a max size for guilds? Is there a way to increase this max guild size? (the site says 20, but that seems a bit small) Bonnie: 20 is the initial requirement of the guild. There is no limit in the game size. Bonnie: you can increase your guild member at will.
[QT]Preston: *Riano* Question: In which way is ship speed and handling affected by wind, cargo load or damage? Linda_Lin: It will be influenced by the power of the wind, the direction of the wind, the speed of the wind, and the damagement of the sail. Linda_Lin: All of these influencing element will press influence on the speed of the ship .
[QT]Preston: *[NF]Goune* Many of the mmo's coming out of asia of late, seem to have a similar look and feel to them, how are you combating the lineage-2 syndrom, other then adjusting time period/realism ? Daniel: Yeah, Asia is main place where come out new MMO, but VC is a totally different theme online game for sea and adventure brave Daniel: not just bloody and fighting
[QT]Preston: *Shane* Can we make people walk the plank? Daniel: exactly, also, you can fight with enemy on plank
[QT]Preston: *sotyrulz* can you give some more info on the types of weapons in the game, is it going to be mostly all sword fighting, will there be ANY magic fighting styles, or spears, or other such weapons? Linda_Lin: This is a kind of true-life online game so the weapons in the game is guns, cannons, spears and so on, but there is no magic fighting style.
[QT]Preston: *[GoD]Simony* Will their only be male pirates to allow for the historical accuracy of the age of piracy to remain intact? Bonnie: Female also could be great pirates if you want.
[QT]Preston: *flamingbeard* More about guilds, when you create/join a guild, must all all the members be of the same (in game) country or profession? Bonnie: No. You can join a guild freely no matter the country or profession.
[QT]Preston: *Riano* In which way will the game be developed any further? Will new features be added with time? Which? Linda_Lin: We will be in the light of the trail of the history and open more cities including Austrialia, America and so one for the players to explore, besides we will add more vivid and true-life houses system, son and daugter system, etc
[QT]Preston: *sotyrulz* Will the game contain a combat level system, where you level up and become more powerful? If so, with weapons like guns, how does going up a level affect the power of the character? Linda_Lin: Yes, it will. Weapon doesn't level up with character, however you can use higher level weapon once you reach new level
[QT]Preston: *Shane* Will diseases such as scurvy or the plague play any role in the game? Linda_Lin: When the players are exploring in the high sea, the sailors on the ship will be sick to death sometimes.
[QT]Preston: *chris11211* how will you fight against online hacking in-game? Daniel: Voyage Century get a professional security login and password sys, but pls make sure virus away you PC
[QT]Preston: *Hexo[AG]* What happens if you fall into the ocean while fighting? Can you get back into the boat/ship if you're too far from land, or do you just die? mary_li: No, you wont die. But if you failed in the fighting, you will get back to town center.
[QT]Preston: flamingbeard* This is a question about npc enemies, will they all be true to life things, or will there be some zombie pirates or other fictitious enemies? Bonnie: Some of them are true to life things and some are fictitious which make the game more interesting.
[QT]Preston: *Riano* Question: Will it be possible for guilds (in future?) to found and own/run new cities, maybe in the "New World" ? Bonnie: We have city battles in game. Guild can occupy the real cities if they win the city battle. Bonnie: We will open new cities for guilds.
[QT]Preston: **[GoD]Simony* Will their be player housing in the form of houseboats or personal islands? Linda_Lin: The houses system will be coming soon Linda_Lin: And it will be one of the light points in the game

[QT]Preston: *sotyrulz* What kinds of team activities are in Voyage Century? Bonnie: City battles, guild tasks and other ceremonies for festivals.
[QT]Preston: *StringEmil* "1.1 There are 17 skills for the characters: navigation, sea battle, eloquence, sword-playing, falchion-playing, axe-playing, shooting, medicine, bare-back fighting, mining, timber-felling, planting, fishing, foundry, sewing, alchemy and ship building." I read this on your site, are these all the skills planned, and what would "axe-playing" involve? mary_li: There are about 5-6 particulars for axe-playing skill.
